JCI Bangalore Horizon is happy to be part of APCC 2013. We have got responsibility of hosting the "Grooming Seminar" for the children selected to go to Japan for APCC. This seminar will be held on 5 and 6 of May.

The Asia Pacific Children’s convention is an effort from the Jaycees of Fukuoka, Japan. Children from the entire Pacific region are invited to spend 12 days in Japan every year The children stay with Japanese families and help foster an intercultural exchange.
In India the NHQ circulates the application form every year around January and the applicants have to submit their scrap books detailing the talents they possess to make them outstanding and worthy of selection. The selected child should be between 11 and 12 years of age.
While due weightage is given to the child’s merits, the services rendered by the parents to JCI India play a major role in the selection.
The children go through an orientation program lasting two days to prepare them to imbibe Japanese culture and also to prepare them on showcasing Indian culture.
